An aircraft belonging to Overland Airways, parked inside Overland Air hangar at the domestic wing of the Muritala Muhammed Airport in Lagos, is currently on fire.

It is believed the plane was being serviced when it caught fire.

The inferno also spread to other aircraft, causing damages estimated to be worth millions of dollars.

The Fire Service at the airport, have deployed their men to curtail the inferno.

The ATR 72-202 suffered substantial damage after a fire erupted while the aircraft was undergoing maintenance at Lagos-Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Nigeria. The aircraft was powered by a ground power unit at the time of the occurrence.
The fire broke outside, on the right side of the fuselage.
