Are the Travel Advisories Useful??

#1

Post by howie » Tue Aug 21, 2018 1:20 pm

Hi,

I have been posting Travel Advisories for the last few weeks.

I have found out that the site that I was subscribed to was doing this on a trial basis. The minimum cost is $35 per month, which is out the window.

If one sends in 3 reports a month, then we get free membership. Do you find them useful, and can I/We rely on submitting 3 reports per month from the active flying community on this site.

Cheers

Howie

Howzit Howie,

I for one do enjoy reading the Travel Advisories even if it is just for my own edification. Interesting to see what is going on around the world.

But yes, I would be happy with the 3 posts a month as the $35 is pretty steep just for us to enjoy a daily read.

Whatever works for you will be fine with me.

Thanks for the effort.

Howie, thanks for sharing the information. I too find it interesting to read.

But don't put yourself out of pocket for that price. Free membership and 3 posts a month will be fine :champion:

Thanks for the reply. What I actually meant is that through our flying community on this site, if through all our active aviators/ ground crew, we are able to send just 3 reports a month to the Flight Service Bureau, we will then have free membership, and entre to the daily briefing reports.

I certainly wouldnt entertain paying for the service. :anyone:
