This is I - gear up

Post by gear up » Thu Feb 11, 2016 11:57 am

Dylan Cunha aka gear up or Sir Lancelot to put it kindly.

Nightfighter First Officer B732 Bidair Cargo, Arsenal fan, and I've been told "be careful the Martians are coming

If I could afford it, I'd fly aerobatics all day everyday but I love my job nonetheless :research: :fantastic:

Hey Dylan, you and Moertoe must make a formidable team. A nutty team, but formidable I'm sure. Welcome on board :friends:

Welcome to the "other" forum - you're gonna love it here. All mature adults, with a really great sense of humour, no chips on our shoulders, and very few pi$$ing contests.......... Here we all rag each other and don't take things personally - well, except for 87 J, and he's making plans to get rid of that noisy night raider that constantly interrupts his sleep.......... :whip:

Hmmmm  - with a profile name like "gear up" there has got to be a story attached to it....... C'mon, share the background!! :fantastic:

Looking forward to you sharing your flying activities on this site as well :good: :good:

Flying classics and being an Arsenal fan are both great features in my book :handshake:

Ok.....was just wondering...helped two Cunha brothers (Portuguese) so many times with their projects during my library years...one's name was Carlos I think...and after posting I remembered that the Dylan I was thinking of's surname is vd Haer.

Thank you all, awesome to be part of like minded aviation nuts.

The name gear up comes from nothing more than "positive rate, gear up" and a secondary meaning, as in, gear up, I don't have time for slack asses :outtahere:

Whoa there, cowboy - sometimes a slack butt can be very handy. :deadhorse:
I, personally, have had dealings with tight-asses, and let me tell you, they're no fun either.......

Seriously, though - welcome to the party, may your number of landings always equal your number of take-off's, and may the name you chose never become a self-fulfilling prophesy...... :welcome:
