Thanks Photon, I was wondering where HGC had gotten too. Haven't seen her for a while. Does she not sleep at FAGC?

That's an impressive paint job! Reminds me of that new Embraer paint job.

It really is amazing what you can do with graphic design today and to what you can apply it as well. I really do love the shark paint job on the Embraer.

That said, there are not too many "funky" paint schemes of aircraft here in SA

Hi 407
I don't really know where HGC lives; I photographed her in front of the hangar of Trio Helicopters.
There are not that many helicopters actually based at Lanseria apart from the MCC, Halo and Money aviation machines and a few others.
A variety of helicopters, however, come to Trio for maintenance and overhaul and of course make for good photography by their hangar.
An interesting model that has recently been based at Lanseria is of course ZU-RXX, a South West Florida SW204HP.
Here are some pics of ZU-RXX.

Thanks for the update Photon. I have managed to see RXX in the flesh at Rand about a month or so ago. Very nicely preserved aircraft indeed :champion:

A few interesting visitors at Lanseria.
First one is Bombardier Global Express N988GG. The plane is registered to the American food company "Amy's Kitchen"

Second one is another Bombardier Global Express P4-BFK.
The plane is registered in Aruba and is owned by Jogo Aviation N.V. trading as Bestfly Aircraft Mangement.
Bestfly also do all ground handling in Angola for airplanes operated by the oil giant Chevron.

Great pictures Michael. Nice Friday afternoon at FALA then?

Like some drool over the Gulfstreams, I really do like the Global Express family, especially the 6000

I made a quick stop at Lanseria around midday and caught some of the, I guess, late-leavers of the BRICS summit.
