Cape Town flooded yesterday and Knysna, Plett and areas around PE burned and whole towns were avacuated. Some strange weather going on in SA.

We are in a freezing cold wet Cape Town now after some challenging flying weather earlier on. Looking forward to a good sleep now in the cold

The fires over the Eastern parts had definitely eased up, well at least from our view this evening. There was still one big fire burning Humansdorp area near PE though. JNB was bitterly cold, O'c when we departed, I think there will be some good frost when you all wake up. With full moon being tonight, we managed to get a good view of the snow on our descent into Cape Town now. Really stunning views but f f ffrrr ffffeeeezzzing getting out of the aircraft  :yikes:

Phark, yes, Joburg wasn't warm yesterday. My frikken fingers nearly fell off trying to do the pre-flight inspection on the 407 and trying to close the covers etc. Those damn clips are not ment to be used in winter without gloves :haha: :haha:

That's the kind of stuff you expect to see in movies - not here in SA :yikes: :yikes:
