Guess the Cockpit #1 Solved - Convair 880

#1

Post by Bell 407 » Thu Oct 08, 2015 8:57 pm

Ok ok, so hold the horses please. I am getting so confused as to what's right and what's wrong and who gets the cigar and brandy :zirbirt:

So a bit of housekeeping. Please post your Guess the Cockpit as a new topic with a hash number after it for each new picture That way we (actually me and some others) can keep track of who are the brilliant ones amongst us and who are the ones that just suck :friends:

Right so with that out the way, I have a snorter as #1 which I believe is going to stump you all. So please bring it on :whip:

I'm going to take a flyer, Convair 880... Elvis's machine perhaps?

Easy, Convair 880

What I really find amazing is that 87J (who doesn't fly for living) knows most of the cockpits that I don't even know. To you I take my hat off! :utheman:

Moertoe, I've been absorbing airplane info out of magazines, Janes books, Internet, +++ for the last 30 odd years... My flying career sadly didn't get off the ground past 192 hours...

Truly amazing 87J

B407, why don't we continue on this thread and just change the subject when you post a new airplane cockpit (Re: Guess the Cockpit #1 change to "Guess the Cockpit #2" ? I'm waiting for phpbb to release the official post numbering system extension (like we had before) that will make it easier to reply to a post.

Might be worth the effort to make new posts with edited topic headings once Solved. That way we can all learn a bit as each topic has the answer? Just my :2cents: worth.
