oh dear... Now you guys are going to get me started....

My landlord is a wine farmer in Robertson and makes a brilliant Shiraz. His daughter and son-in-law also make MCC bubbles called Paul Rene... The Brut is SUPERB!

Will make an effort to try those, I see they should have the MCC at my local butcher so should be easy.
Generally not a Shiraz fan, but as this one is cheap enough to make Chili con Carne from I will give it a try :haha:#

Oh, and Robertson is by far my favorite SA wine region to visit. Nice farms, great people and a little less busy the the places around Stellies

Better than not too bad I imagine :peekaboo:

The last two days wine in the house, after visiting a Woolworth's with a different and better wine selection than our local outlet.

Wednesday we tried another Argentinian Malbec, this time the Trapiche Pure Malbec. One of the better Malbecs we had for some time, but as pretty much all foreign wine overpriced locally compared to local wine.

Yesterday it was Laibach's The Ladybird Red 2014 all the way from Stellenbosch. Found on offer at R79 and was far above expectation. Add to that it is made from organically grown grapes, so the more you drink the better for the environment, I think!
