Moz Tourist info (HS?)

Hi all (Happyskipper in particular  )

In the process of putting a little two week April Mozambique outing together but have no first hand knowledge and only info has been internet so far.

Unless we decide to go west or south instead, we will be going up to Inhambane and Vilanculo/Bazaruto area, all by car (no flying this time).

Any advice to destinations/accommodation and overnight spots en-route.

We love everything nature, don't dive but love snorkling and we will be bringing our own house (=tent, but happy with low key, relaxed cabanas or lodges as well). No resorts!

Many thanks in advance :beer2:

Listen to LM Radio on the internet, they often give tips to travelers. Plus good music.

Hi GD - as I always fly, I don't really have much info on Driving to Moz. However, try these two facebook pages: https://www.facebook.com/groups/DriveMoz/
https://www.facebook.com/groups/mozinfogroup/

Also please contact my friend,Carlos Carvalho, who is resident at BD point, and can assist with all your enquiries... https://www.facebook.com/Tsutsuma?fref=ts

I believe that Mozambique is one of the best holiday destinations in Africa. It can be done very cheaply, but the best resorts and lodges are fairly expensive, compared to SA destinations.

If you don't come right - contact me, and I will gather all relevant info.
