N3 has just been closed at Harrismith due to heavy snow falls. Many other passes in the eastern cape are also closed.
Still trying to catch the gravy train.

Morning All,

For those of you who are interested, I have created a Cathedral Peak Hotel Webcam Desktop App much like the Henley Air Webcam. It can be downloaded at the following link:

http://www.earthimage.co.za/CPHWebcam.htm.

Enjoy.

Yeah I remember I had to authorize Java before it would show.  Damn, if it had been Beer, all would have gone like clockwork!

We past through Harrysmith/Ladysmith on Saturday when it was raining with no snow visible on the mountains. Today the south side range was well covered with snow...

Yip the choppers all made it in ok but then the mizzle and cloud came down and just sat on the top of the Little Berg. Only a few sorties done today. Hoping for better weather tomorrow.

Thanks for the reminder Raffles. Yes it is all completely trashed. Basically one big pothole. Not even the stop and go's are in place anymore.
