Quite common for the small Yachts to have the helipad in the front
I take it the boat would be stopped with the stern into wind for startup, otherwise the chopper would get a draft up its shaft.

ZS-IAB was apparently the sister ship operating for that airline at the same time when this happened. That's what I've been told anyway, but, I'm sure GD will be able to verify this info

IAB was happily flying around for TACA in 1986. Only 14 year old but had already served with Wien Air (US) and for Oil giant Aramco before that. It only joined Aloha in 2006 after some years in Mexico.
