Nice :good:

From what I have been told: "Better service and less bureaucracy at Lanseria".

Quick Lanseria visit this afternoon - very nice light already around 16:00 :Like:

Former Botswana Casa 235. Was sold to to Togo Air Force as 5V-MBM years ago but deal apparently failed as aircraft never left Lanseria. First it became ZS-SOO and as can be seen now ZU-SOO. Surely the largest aircraft on the ZU- register.

ZS-BAJ Cirrus SR22 G3 GTS - for sale should anyone have some cash to splash

ZS-SJY Diamond DA 20-C1 Katana from local flying school Aeronav Academy

Highlight was the visit of this Cessna Demonstrator - N985BC Cessna 680A Citation Latitude

ImageN985BC_12Oct17-FALA by Aviation Adventures South Africa, on Flickr

As we were leaving this one came out of a hangar in brand new colours - ZS-SGU Learjet 45 - pretty nice if you ask me.
ImageZS-SGU_12Oct17-FALA by Aviation Adventures South Africa, on Flickr

Still the nicest active Lanseria based aircaft stays ZS-DJA Gulfstream IIB here just returned from Cape Town with a short stop at Waterkloof.

Ah FALA, a pleasant place to be and yes GD, the light this pm was very good

Awesome pictures but really do like the new pajamas for SGU - looks very smart indeed. And thanks for the update on the CASA, was trying to figure out where it went and why it was popping up of late on the tracking sites

Thanks for posting :good:

Another C-17 at Lanseria. Luckily fitted nicely with a visiting Guftstream IV I 'needed' to see. While the Gulfstream was packed away in a corner and could not really be photographed I caught the chubby one on departure although with the sun against me.

07-7182 C-17A Globemaster III United States Air Force - was already pushed back when I arrived

Nice and early lift-off

And gone she was

I still maintain the C-17 is a brilliant looking machine. Would have looked great operating for the SAAF, but sadly no :crybaby:

Always great to see that shinny polished metal on an aircraft. Contrasts nicely with the paint scheme. Great pic :Like:
