I think it's a rough runway kit.

Pretty sure 87J is correct :good:

Bell 407 wrote:Not sure where D2-ESN is operating from as such. Been in and out of FAGM and FALA for the past week or so

Think it was just a Rand to get a snag fixed and went in and out via Lanseria for Customs. Maybe did a testflight at Rand as well.

So where do I start - planed quick visit to Lanseria to see the first visit of a Citation Latitude to South Africa turn into a not so quick visit (but that was a good thing I think  )

The reason for the visit - N11TR Cessna 680A Citation Latitude (basically a short wheel base Sovereign+) One of the better looking Citations if you ask me.

Some helicopters for Mr. 407

ZT-RMG a 2016-vintage Airbus H125 (the type that was formerly known as Eurocopter AS350 and before that Aérospatiale AS350)
ImageZT-RMG_16Aug16-FALA by Aviation Adventures South Africa, on Flickr

38 years older is the Enstrom 280C - was ZS-HWS not sure if leaving the register or just needs to have it re-applied after re-spray.
ImageZS-HSW_16Aug16-FALA by Aviation Adventures South Africa, on Flickr

The senior of the day was this Jet Ranger - couldn't read the con number on the plane but former Canadian reg. CF-BQH makes it cn 745 :yikes:
1971 Vintage, there are many old 206s out there, but this is proper old. Need a bit of work before it goes flying though :gooneybird:

A couple ZS- updates

ZS-DIY had a bit of steroids lately, was always a Citation Mustang but have grown to a Cessna 525A CitationJet Cj2+ (cn 525A0458). Arrived FALA 01/Aug as N674JM
ImageZS-DIY_16Aug16-FALA by Aviation Adventures South Africa, on Flickr

Old ZS-DIY have now become ZS-JIK
ImageZS-JIK_16Aug16-FALA by Aviation Adventures South Africa, on Flickr

Last but not least former A2-WIN Beechjet 400A (cn RK-140) have become ZS-TGT with Lanseria Jet Centre.

Other highlights included Titan Helicopter Groups Embraer 145 that now displays the colours of Nationale Regionale Transport from Gabon.

And A2-MBG Hawker 800XP (cn 258460) for its first appearance on the net I believe

That was it :bye2:

GD, those are cracking shots all round. Please do make sure all future short visits turn into a long drawn out affair with the said pictures posted here :good: :good:

The Latitude looks really well balanced in terms of size and those tapered, slightly upward pointing wingtips are just beauteous. I heard her stop in at FAGM first before she went off to FALA (or was it the other way around?).

To be honest I preferred Aerospatiale before it changed to Airbus Helicopters - such a lovely sounding name indeed. Nice pic of RMG. PS, they could quite easily just "lose" that Uglysrom somewhere on the apron :green: :green:

Thanks for the updates on those other registrations - nice to know. Haven't seen THG before so that's cool :champion: :champion:

To avoid getting paint everywhere when applying the new registration I think.

GD, do you ever work? Or are you making up for potential lost time seeing that you are being "dragged" of to spend some time in a mokorro this weekend :haha: :haha:

That shot of PT-STU Challenger 350 is lovely. The colour works really well :champion:

And of course she had a gear failure at FACT last week. All tyres blew on landing and the nose gear collapsed on the taxiway...
