Another nice Angolan catch was this brand new Caravan EX - D2-RIO Cessna 208B cn208B-5282

Can't say I approved they built this fence a couple years back, robbed us from a great position, ZS-ZWD B737-800wl Kulula

The mentioned Twotter - D2-EVA De Havilland DHC-6-300 Twin Otter from SJL Aeronautica arrived from Angola (via Maun) to clear customs before heading to Wonderboom for maintenance.

Also Lanseria was honored with a visit from a heavenly machine today when Nigerian pastor and the General Overseer of the 'Redeemed Christian Church of God' E.A. Adeboye arrived in his Gulfstream G500 N730EA. Holy moly I can just say :crazy1:

Does anyone know if 9G-ABF used to fly for Jetline? I flew for them on the Diesel 8 and they had 2 Jetstar's. Had to jumpseat on one of them from Toulouse to Mitiga back in 2002.

Couldn't be more jealous if I wanted DC-8 and Jetstar   :surrender:

Jetlines Jetstars were first P4- (as was the DC8?) and later 3C- registered. They were P4-CBJ/3C-QQU and P4-CBG/3C-QRK, QRK has been broken up but QQU is apparently still current although I do not think it is a flyer. They had DC8 P4-DCE a VIP aircraft I believe, any others?

9G-ABF was imported from the US in 2009 and registered 9G-ABF for BF Jet Air.

P4-DCE was the Diesel 8 that I flew for them. They also had 2 IL-62 VIP's, managed to get a ride in that one also. Don't remember the registration though.

So I better post these here as well considering I did find myself with some time at FALA yesterday morning... apologies for the dodgy iPhone 6 pics, we'll have to see what the new iPhone 7 Plus gives me next week...

Netcare Hawker landed as we pulled into the Lanseria complex.

Except for the PC12 (which I think is due to the glass) I think they are pretty good :good:
And on that note what Samsung phone, that is not the size of a dinning table, can I get with a good camera

Clearly as you saw on the ORT thread, plane spotting bores Ayrton to sleep

Ayrton certainly is a cute lad. Not to worry that he gets time to sleep, he's practicing for when he is a piloot in later life :haha: :haha:

But, GU, thanks for the pics. Even though they are cellphone-based, you are giving the FALA thread on AvCom some competition :champion: :champion:

Awesome - but you need to keep that kid awake for the important stuff :cool2:

FALA can indeed to very quiet this time a year. You did catch a bit of a gem though, the Dornier 328 is probably Swift Flite's machine, should be ZS-AJS (ex N338PH) I have not yet seen it with its new colours and registration and also haven't seen any pics on the net of that machine. :green:

Iffy light - but a 757 needed to be seen :sparkle:

N610G Boeing 757-22L L-3 Communications
All sort of stories about this aircraft on the net, seem to be used exclusively by the US government.

A surprise visitor was D2-ERO Beech 200T King Air - not every day you seen a King Air with tip tanks :cool2:

Based Kodiak demonstrator N139KQ of CDC - No runway, no problem

Last but not least, 5Y-MNG Cessna 550 Citation Bravo

Ciao, Michael

GD, lovely pics of the B752. Did you get to see her takeoff? But even though she is painted all white, those little accents of colour are just perfect. She really does look good :champion:

Plus you even got the shot with the dome light flashing :handshake:

Better than expected traffic back from Lanseria gave my a couple minutes to post these now :peekaboo:

Taget of the visit was VH-JCR Learjet 35 of Air Affairs (http://www.airaffairs.com.au), not a regular VIP machine but unfortunately also not carrying any of it pods :crybaby:

Had heard rumors of an EC.225 with King Air Helicopters, turned out to be Botswana Air Force OL1 in for a respray. Was just delivered in September (used).

Nice pics GD. Do you perhaps have a hex code for that Bots 225?
