It don't matter that it's not the best quality. Just thanks for posting. Always nice to see what's going on around the place. Like GD said, the emergence of these retro schemes really is great fun. I very much like the Condor Retro scheme

Thanks, Bell. I need to get an arm /camera rest to sharpen up the image. Either that or the pilot needs a steadier hand. :smile2:

Downwind, can you post a picture from Google Earth as to where you house is situated? Would be good to get an idea of the area you are shooting pictures from :good:

I'm there somewhere close to Somerset West on the SE leg before the aircraft passes over the coastline and then turns base leg.

Need an arm/camera rest.

I used to stay in De Wijnlanden which is right underneath the downwind leg for 01... Was an epic thing!

Downwind you should rather get a motion detection camera. That will solve your problem. Movement in the lens = click and viola

Not a bad idea, Bell :research:

Raining here now with a NW wind so the planes are coming over but no views this evening. :negative:

I need a more precise location so Boepie and I can overfly at night. I think i know more or less where 87J's place is :bingo: Sir 407 is cryptic, I never know whether we're close or not :bingo:

Ok... So I'm the blue dot bottom right, the red tag is De Wijnlanden.

I'm pretty much on your route most nights, but here's a map in relation to Die Wynlanden.
