Oefening toets SANW-paraatheid.
Maandag 18 Julie 2016 -Volksblad.

Kimberley - Inwoners van die Diamantstad kan verwag dat die klankgrens van vanoggend gereeld gebreek gaan word wanneer die weermag se vegvliegtuie, asook helikopters oor inwoners se koppe gaan dreun.
Grippen vegvliegtuie asook Oryx- en Agusta helikopters sal tot Donderdag by die lughawe as deel van operasie Ndlovu opstyg en land.
Dit vorm deel van 'n operasie om die weermag se operasionele gereedheid te toets.
Kol. Piet Paxton, weermagwoordvoerder sê hulle het die afgelope naweek die finale voorbereidings vir die oefening gedoen.
"Ons gaan verskillende magte in drie gebiede van die land ontplooi.  Ons het ook 'n tydelike kamp en hoofkwartiere by die Kimberley lughawe opgerig."
Die leër, wat deur sekere lugmageenhede en die militêre mediese dienste ondersteun word, sal by die Suid-Afrikaanse Leërgevegskool in Lohatlha in die Noord-Kaap gebasseer wees.
Die 43 Suid-Afrikaanse Brigade het reeds die afgelope naweek 'n diensgerigte oefening genaamd 'Jong Arend' gehad.
Die vloot het op dieselfde tyd 'n oefening genaamd 'Rooi Leeu' in die Wes-Kaap uitgevoer.
Die lugmag se oefening genaamd 'Wintersonkeerpunt', word vanaf die Kimberley lughawe beheer.
Al die oefeninge binne operasie  'Doktrine' word vanaf die beheersentrum by die Kimberley lughawe bestuur en geëvalueer.
Verskeie eenhede het reeds in konvooie na Lohatlha vir die oefeninge gereis.  Die lugmageenhede is by die Kimberley-lughawe gebasseer. Die oefening duur tot 23 Julie.
Die laaste eenhede en voertuie sal op 29 Julie na hul basisse terugkeer.

On last Monday the bk came over so low that a couple of vehicle alarms went off in the parking lot at the office.

I saw them earlier on in the week at Kimberly. It was 2 of them doing some sort of training.
