Finally got to put up a few pics from last weeks adventure, a daytrip to Plettenberg Bay with Plettairsafaries/Majestic Air King Air 200.

ZS-KGW Beech 200 King Air Majestic Air at Lanseria before departure. Was an empty leg to Plett as plane was heading down to Plett as plane was going down to do some work for Plettairsafaries.

I seem to remember that Border Air had an Islander in the old days, could this not be the same one?

No idea on this one, never heard of Border Air I am afraid.

After a short wait in was on to Cape Town with the good people from Cemair on the Beech 1900D.

Boarding ZS-CMI Beech 1900D CemAir at Plett. Con number UE-218 on nose wheel door, always nice in case you are in doubt

The snack box, maybe time consider a slightly healthier version :sparkle:

Finally CemAir logos on the inside of the winglets. Cape Agulhas down below :thumbsup1:

Border Air was a charter company based at the old Ben Schoeman airport (East London). They also had a schedule license and operated to Umtata.

I know the big chief of Cem Air, he seems to have done quite well for himself, started out with one small plane.

Thanks again :thumbsup1:

Last few before I go back to the Euro trip report is from the Mango flight back to Lanseria. Not the biggest variation in the pics I am afraid.

On ZS-SJG Boeing 737-800 Mango, departing out of Cape Town with a big rock on our right

Interesting cloud/smoke to the north when passing the Buffelsfontein Gold Mine (near Klerksdorp)
ImageZS-SJG_09Nov17-inflight by Aviation Adventures South Africa, on Flickr

As we reached JHB area the light had gone
ImageZS-SJG_09Nov17-inflight2 by Aviation Adventures South Africa, on Flickr

And last up front for a quick pic after arrival at Lanseria with Capt Dennis du Toit and FO (didn't catch the name, but not GU)

- THE END
