I am a fan GD, but from an aerial filming point of view. Lots of aircraft to be coordinated makes for a very interesting 3 weeks or so. That is why I also like the Tour de France - great aerial filming work done on that event too.

Thanks for the pics - the 412 is a stunner :good: How long were you there for?

Lived in Bolivia at the time so just packed the Suzuki and went to a couple stages in Northern Chile followed by a few days at the beach in Iquique to undust. The dunes in the Atacama are unreal, up to 1500m high.

That's really cool. Thanks for posting GD. Was going to do the same today but I kind of got sidetracked at work.

Thanks GD, those trucks are monsters and to get them going that high off the ground is amazing

Monsters indeed, but I am pretty sure it was not the plan to go flying :yikes:

Some ditches have just the right dimensions to serve brilliantly as a ramp given the right speed :crazy1:

Funny with the first two - almost looks like the same scene, but the shadow doesn't fit to above chopper :gooneybird:

But awesome pics as always from the Dakar guys.
