The best Russian bomber?

The Russians are not very good at Rugby, one of the reasons they are not in the RWC.

Snor, maybe you posted this in the wrong thread but puleeeeez, this is a very interesting history thread of old aircraft types.

I know it was regarded as one of the best air to ground attack aircraft during the war, I wonder if the de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito model was based upon the Petlyakov Pe-2?
