Yes you could put up a sign Raffles at your front gate, "Learn to fly from home." :haha: :haha:

Re: Calm crew averted disaster after propeller fell off plane, ATSB says

Some pilots have all the luck, and some got to the end of the luck queue just a little too late.

Re: Happy Birthday Boeing 747 Shortened Version

I have a very fond memory of sitting enjoying the view from the upper deck of a B747-400 on my trip to and from the USA.

Re: World’s New Longest Nonstop Flight: Tickets on Sale

If you are up front on business it should be okay, but stuck in economy, possibly between people twice your size may be an issue. DVT instances will also be needing some monitoring to check if it is on the increase as flights get longer.

Re: United Airlines Unveils World’s Largest Flight Training Center

This must be a large centre to get enough floor space for the 30 flight simulators. Just the effort of keeping the hydraulics in order and providing smooth power to the computer systems gave some team a few sleepless nights.

Re: Crew select wrong runway for take off

I remember an old nursery rhyme that used the words, "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can . . ."
Maybe the Captain had this running in his head at the time.

Any incident at the poles brings into perspective the issue and use of arctic protective gear and adequate survival equipment to aircraft personnel.

Strange they went for Mango, I would have thought the "Green" one would have made them feel more at home in the trees.

Careful 407, I am still using my early 2000 Sanyo Mik-en-Druk and have only changed batteries twice since new. To say technology has changed is an understatement. Omar's fighter shots are to die for regarding clarity.

Many thanks GD for some really great angles in your photo shots. Ending on the Falcon 8X made my evening. There should also be a new Gulfstream at the AAD this year boasting an extended range.

I was watching those ARLAC after lifting off from Wonderboom. They had a ball all around Menlyn at 176k with only ZU-PDM visible on FR24.
