Re: New toy for Happy Skipper

Hehehehe - that, coupled with the hovercraft, and a Cessna 206 on floats, would make my life complete.....

Re: Why This Aztec Landing Went Wrong at St Barts

IMHO the excessive floating was caused by his high approach speed.... Yup - Moertoe, I think that we all agree on that. My take is that when he went sailing past the taxiway [where the twotters turn off] with still NO inclination to rejoin the surly bonds of earth - he should have - Yup you guessed...

Re: TAAG B737 nosegear oopsie

Hmmm - it wouldn't be the 1st time that a 1st Officer pulled up the gear lever instead of the flap - and the trigger doesn't really help if the guy is thinking about his nightstop with the hot hostie - or something........ But, that hasn't been proved yet, so maybe it's too early to burn the poor bu...

Mozambique air routes open to tender

Just came across this. Anything is better than flying on LAM. The Mozambican government, through the Mozambican Aviation Authority, launched a tender today Tuesday to explore domestic and regional routes from the country. http://clubofmozambique.com/news/mozambique-government-launches-tender-for-new...
