Good Day IF forum member, Admin have taken the decision to close down the forum. This is due to the site receiving such low levels of traffic over the past year that the costs for hosting the site far outweigh current usage. Last day of service will be 21 December 2018. We would like to take this op...

If my assumption is on the right track, the folding winglets will be used in dense air conditions at lower altitudes and then deployed to the folded out position for high attitude flights. :anyone: I thought it was just to get the aerie to fit into the current parking bay size at airports :thinking:
