Taken at the beginning of June at FAGM when the Highveld encountered some really misty and foggy mornings. It's quite something to watch that video knowing what is going to happen next. I am just amazed at the speed they were going at before the crash. They really were barreling along. In this regard, the outcome was very good in terms of those who survived.

It really is an interesting debate. I agree that Joe Public would not know what to do. But exposure to some sort of flight training, whether through actual of simulated, gives you an idea of what the procedures are and where to look for the common instruments in a cockpit. That would certainly help....
