The Ruskies have been upping the ante for the past couple of years by venturing closer and closer into others sovereign airspace. Vlad is flexing his muscles indeed

Howie, thanks for sharing the information. I too find it interesting to read.

But don't put yourself out of pocket for that price. Free membership and 3 posts a month will be fine :champion:

Seems to be quite a common occurrence nowadays that aircraft have prangs on the ground

I remember this incident. Was quite alarming what happened when the computers wanted to go Ctrl+Alt+Del :yikes:

Re: Gauteng Government launches specialised aviation school

First I have heard of it too. Not sure really what to make of it.

Maybe the "aviation" connotation is misleading because they will be studying maths, science and engineering. All good subjects not withstanding, but the aviation side seems very strange

Re: Seen at FALA (Lanseria)

It really is amazing what you can do with graphic design today and to what you can apply it as well. I really do love the shark paint job on the Embraer.

That said, there are not too many "funky" paint schemes of aircraft here in SA

Don't hold your breath on this. I'm sure there are equity partners out there but they would want some say or leverage for chucking a whole bunch of cash at the airline :anyone:

Always great to see that shinny polished metal on an aircraft. Contrasts nicely with the paint scheme. Great pic :Like:
